Owner and operator Agra prides herself in providing a safe, secure, warm environment for guests. Unlike many larger hostels Swagger's "just like home" environment makes it the perfect destination for families to come and unwind for a night, weekend or even longer.
Oamaru is a great destination for kids and their parents alike, we have plenty of amazing cafes, world renowned restaurants such as Fleurs in Moeraki and Riverstone Kitchen 15 minutes north. The kids will love hunting for penguins which can be found within 5 minutes walk of your front door!
The Farmers Market is on every Sunday morning, again less than five minutes walk away.
We have two rooms that are suitable for families of five or six people respectively (two sets of bunks in each room + one or two king single beds). These can be reserved on a "per-room" basis so your family can enjoy your own privacy and space. Our most sought after room "The Shiners Cabin" boasts great views over the harbour just two minutes walk from your front door.
Prices start at $120 per night for a family of four, with extra children being $25pp.
